Our rental experience was great! The large home accommodated our family well. We enjoyed getting to be together all under one roof. The amenities the home provided were much appreciated. Our favorite area was the outside patio with the outdoor tv and grill. We also enjoyed playing ping pong in the basement too. One of our guests is handicapped and the elevator allowed him to enjoy the fun on each level. We had a great time!

Couldn't get much closer to the ocean. The location was perfect. 5 great restaurants within a 3 block radius. Also a pizza/sub restaurant 2 blocks away. Ice cream parlor 3 blocks away. The unit had a lot of stairs (29 just to get to the unit). Not conducive for the elderly or very young children. Spiral staircases in unit to 2nd & 3rd flrs.

The property was just as advertised, virtually on the Ocean with a Roofdeck and 6 or 7 other Decks overlooking the water. Incredibly convenient and very close of everything we wanted in Seaside Park. Come back from the beach and shower off in the outside shower and enjoy some entertaining and pool time in the beautiful backyard.

The house was gorgeous and decorated with love while keeping the simplicity and cleanliness needed for a rental. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for home cooked meals and entertaining. The only thing that was a little challenging was access to the backyard. Although it was lovely and well equipped with furnishings , you needed to take the elevator or walk down 3 flights of stairs to access the backyard through the garage. We made to just fine without using the backyard for the week we stayed in Seaside Park.

The house was gorgeous and decorated with love while keeping the simplicity and cleanliness needed for a rental. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for home cooked meals and entertaining. The only thing that was a little challenging was access to the backyard. Although it was lovely and well equipped with furnishings , you needed to take the elevator or walk down 3 flights of stairs to access the backyard through the garage. We made to just fine without using the backyard for the week we stayed in Seaside Park.

Our family reunion stay at this home was wonderful. Loved the views from the home and the fact that it was directly across the street from the beach! Thanks for providing 6 badges, that was very helpful!

Since the rental was quite expensive, there were a few small things that could have made the stay a bit more convenient.
1. More of the needed/everyday kitchen utensils (spatulas, etc.)
2. There were no kitchen towels. We had to buy some at the grocery store.
3. Possibly provide more than one bath towel per guest? I think two bath towels per guest would have been a bit more reasonable.
4. A few beach towels & chairs would be a lovely extra since several guests were from out of town and couldn't bring them along.

The family was happy with our vacation in Seaside Park. Everything was as expected having stayed at this home a number of times. The original concerns remain, they need a lock on the main floor bathroom, without it makes the facility not comfortably used. And they need different outdoor furniture in the yard. As it is it makes the yard pretty useless, which is a shame since it is a large spot. It also would be nice to have a permanent dish washer as the portable one is not easy to use, so doing dishes every meal makes for more of a chore than wanted on vacation. It would be nice to have the house provide more beach badges. 4 for a home that has four bedrooms leads us to have to buy weeklies at a cost. We do enjoy the outside front porch as we gathered there every evening. The dining room is a great size and there is lots of seating. We do eat in for most of our meals, aside from a boardwalk dinner and a takeout meal on our last day, the kitchen is well stocked, the pantry very convenient to house all our food supplies and the refrigerator/freezer is a great size. Having the upstairs full and half bath, the outside shower with the extra half bath in basement accommodates our family. The enclosed front porch is a great additional living space. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation. The family also rents two other houses the same week and they enjoyed their visits to this comfortable home.

My family and I truly enjoyed this home. Everything we needed within reach, not too far, yet, not in the middle of crowds. Normally stay closer to boards, this year changed things up. My family and I truly enjoyed this home. Everything we needed within reach, not too far, yet, not in the middle of crowds. Normally stay closer to boards, this year changed things up. Completely satisfied with our decision. Pool for Hot days, shade to escape the heat, dock for crabbing. Everyone was happy. Thank you to the Smith family for sharing your home.

Lovely, lovely house located directly across the street from the nicest beach in all of New Jersey. Incredible ocean views from house and fro
magnificent front porch. Spacious layout with bedrooms on three floors which gave everyone in our family plenty of space. Fenced in grass back yard was a plus for my grandson.

I would highly recommend this house - peaceful, quiet, beautiful and FUN.

And I would highly recommend Anthony and Lauren at Arthur Rue; they are outstanding - kind, thoughtful, attentive, and always go above and beyond!

All in all our experience at 809 was very positive. The house is beautiful and the location was perfect.
On the negative side the house was not very well appointed with adequate with cooking and serving pieces for a property rented for 14 people example we had to purchase serving bowls and platters for serving salads, etc. The supply of bath towels and linens was also inadequate for 14 people...we did a lot of laundry. It would also have been a benefit to have a real broom and dustpan or vacuum cleaner to keep the floors clean. The broom and battery powered sweeper provided were useless. The sweeper was clogged with hair so I had clean it to get it to work properly.
